Here at Fire-Rescue Education LLC. we offer many of the popular classes that Departments are looking for. Many of these classes can be custom designed to fit your departments specific needs. Here is a list of classes that we currently have available.

FD Course Descriptions


Firefighter I (CT Certification)-
This course is the entry level Firefighter Certification class. Consisting of both classroom and practical hands on training. The student will also complete Hazardous Materials Awarness and a Live Fire Practical evolution. Both IFSTA and Jones and Bartlett curriculum are available.



Firefighter II (CT Certification)
- This course is the next level in the Firefighter certification program.

PRE-REQUISITE: Successful completion of Fire Fighter 1 or member of the fire service prior to July 1, 1977 (must show proof). The student must provide a copy of their FF1 certificate with application.



Engine Company Operations-
This course is designed for entry level and veterans who want to sharpen their skills and expand their knowledge of engine company ops on the fire ground. This class can be tailored to the individual departments needs. Examples of topics include, Fire Behavior, Stretching the First due handline, Responsibilities of the noozle team, Building Construction and how it all relates to the Engine Company. Practical hands on portion of the class is available.
*This class can be run simultaneous with the Truck Company Operations class for a more realistic experience.*



Truck Company Operations
-
This course was developed to reinforce the importance of Truck Company Operations. Covering Ventilation, Forcible Entry, Searching floors, VES, Laddering the building and much more. This class can also be designed around your own policy and procedures.


*This class can be run simultaneous with the Engine Company Operations class for a more realistic experience.*





Hazardous Materials
-
Hazardous Materials training has become a big part of the emergency services. We offer both the entry level of Awarness and the Operational level of dealing with Hazardous Materials.

 

 


 


Forcible Entry- Topics covered in this class consist of Door Construction, Locks, Conventional Forcible Entry and "Through the lock" method.. The hands on portion of this class will be done using the "Friction Force" Forcible Entry door, different types of lock props and remote sites.

 




Live Fire Training (NFPA 1403)-
Acquired Structure is our most popular course. We follow strict guidelines while performing Live Fire Training. Not only can we perform Live fire in these structures, but we can also provide any of our hands-on courses at these acquired buildings.
