August 23, 2009

Fire-Rescue Education LLC, held a Truck Operations Class at Echo Hose Company #1, in Shelton Connecticut. The class of 14 students participated in a 8 hour class that consisted of a morning lecture and afternoon hands on session. The students discussed topics like Building Construction, Conventional Forcible Entry, Basic Roof Ops, V.E.S and Search Techniques in the Private Dwelling. During the afternoon session, the students were able to get some hands on training at an off site vacant structure. Here the students got to practice ventilation of peaked roofs, V.E.S. and basic Search techniques. We would like to thank Echo Hose Company #1 for the participation in this class.
